Inauguration ceremony was held on 16 November, 2015 at Centennial Hall, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. The ceremony was followed by International Symposium: Environmental Health and Prevention of Chemical Hazards.

The symposium was full of participants of researchers, students, policy makers and local citizens.
