Prof. Atsuko Ikeda and Dr. Rahel Mesfin Ketema from Hokkaido University, WHO Collaborating Center, Centre for the Environment and Health Sciences (CEHS), and joint affiliated Faculty of Health Sciences in Japan traveled to Vietnam from August 13th to August 19th.
During the visit, the researchers from Japan visited local, national, and international authorities and university includes, e-waste village near Hanoi, community leaders, National Institute of Occupational and Environmental Health (NIOEH), and WHO Vietnam.
The purpose of visit was to engage with local authorities and stockholders to assess the potential e-waste village for conducting a health survey.
