Visa Requirements

Japanese law stipulates that any foreigner wishing to enter or land in Japan must possess a valid passport. In addition, those from certain countries or regions must possess a visa issued at an overseas Japanese diplomatic establishment (embassy or consulate) to be stamped in or attached to their passport. The visa process can take over a month.

For those attendees of events who registered and paid for ISEE-ISES AC2016 and need visa application documents: please prepare five items listed below after applying for participation using this form, and send them to the Secretariat for ISEE-ISES AC2016 as soon as possible by mail or e-mail:

The Secretariat assists attendees of ISEE-ISES AC2016 with the issuance of these documents, but cannot guarantee that a visa will be granted. We would like you to understand that these documents are required to make sure that your purpose of visit is to attend ISEE-ISES AC2016, which you are highly interested in.

After checking your documents and confirming your registration and payment, we will send you "invitation letter" and "letter of reason for invitation".
